“Confessions of a High Lama” Confessions of a High Lama is a mysterious journey of love that most of us take in our lives without recognizing it; as we are caught up in the net of our daily mundane challenges of existence. I wrote this book with a scintillating imagination to awaken the dormant volcano of yearning to love that is aching to become alive in most of us. The path from the womb to the tomb is life and it must be exciting otherwise we can safely say that we want to live more; and that is to say the least. In today’s world of audited love, starting with a dating service and planning a family as we would plan our business or our jobs we have truly lost the rapture of life. Instead many of us have left the expectation of this rapture for a later time. That is beyond the tomb. I composed the, “Confessions to open the heart and take a peak at our soul and our soul mate in our imagination. There is a hero in each one of us. To fall in love is a heroic act where we give up our individuality for a transformed individuality in union with our soul mate. We cease to exist and experience paradise in our mind. A hero gives up himself for a higher purpose and embraces it and you will experience this heroic heart in your journey with the High Lama. Why did I write “Confessions of a High Lama”? What had brought me to this moment and made me put these thoughts on paper? Perhaps it was no coincidence that I had attracted these thoughts and you are now holding this book in your hands. Perhaps there was something for you and me to discover, to understand, and to remember… I wrote this book to express the feeling of fear that exists in each one of us, the lingering fear of loving fully. This fear makes love a calculated risk and a plastic affair. We don’t live to audit love. A dating service, a date, a wedding, a mundane existence, and a booking vacation to run away from the hum drum of life have brought an unthinkable burden of stress to our modern world. I wrote this “Confessions…” to open up the window of the soul and get a peak at life as it should be, throwing caution through the wind, and loving without rhyme or reason, and with total abandonment. In this tale you will see courtesans and assassins High Lamas, and teachers, travelling through time and space in search of love. The reading of this book will take you away to a different world. And yet it will bring you closer to your own soul, which is aching now to find and to embrace its soul mate. Each soul responds to a call of love. Each soul feels the attraction of Karma. And the highest attraction for a soul is the experience of oneness with a soul mate. That is why we were born. Every action of love is impeccable and faultless when it is taken from a heroic heart. And a heroic heart belongs to each one of us. All we have to do is to believe in certainty of a heroic quest, a quest of finding our soul mate amidst the chores of our daily life. Writing this book was a live changing experience for me. I hope that this book will make you feel as uplifted reading it, as I had felt writing it.
